Migraine Community Groups are free, but you must register to reserve your spot. A limited number of spots are available in each city (15 max).

If you reserve, please come – don’t keep another person with migraine from missing out.

Please Note

If you haven’t attended any of the earlier sessions, don’t worry. You can watch the first video in the series (Session 1) via a Zoom webinar.  The meeting facilitator will email or call you with instructions on how and when to access the first video.

After you’ve viewed Session 1, you’ll have a good understanding of how the Migraine Community Groups work and how it will benefit you.

Joining in

If you plan to attend future sessions in person you’ll receive a hard copy of the Discussion Guide.  However, you should still watch the first video so you can get up to speed when you arrive at the next meeting.

If you can’t make future sessions and plan to watch online, the facilitator will provide you with a link to join those sessions and  interact with others attending the group.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

There is no charge, however we reserve the right to ask a participant to leave due to lack of attendance.

What do I do if I have a migraine attack and can’t come?

Some sites have the option to “Zoom” into the meeting virtually. This option will not give you the same experience as in-person, but we have provided this option as a consolation. Please reserve this option as a “no other choice” option, as it changes the dynamics for all members in the group.

All the spots were full. Is there a wait list?

We will keep a waitlist in case someone needs to drop out.

Is there public transportation available to the group venue?

We do not provide transportation. Some venues are near public transportation.

Are there any doctors involved?

This is not a treatment education program so you will not be engaging with physicians.

Can my spouse/partner/caregiver come?

Due to space limitations we cannot offer this feature at this time.

Is there childcare available?

Not at this time.

Can children attend with their parents?

Not at this time.

When will a group start in my area?

One of the goals is to identify and train peer facilitators in the existing cities. As this process takes shape, we hope to offer the program in more cities in the future.

How will my privacy be protected?

All participants are asked to take an oath of privacy before every session. We will not share names of participants with anyone else.
